Maitland Little League – Registration Refund Policy

Thank you for being part of the Maitland Little League community. We are a nonprofit organization, and registration fees go directly toward uniforms, field maintenance, insurance, city fees, equipment, and the overall experience we provide for every player.

Full Refunds Refund requests submitted prior to team draft day will be honored in full, less a $30 administrative fee. This fee covers non-recoverable costs including payment processing fees and player registration fees remitted to Little League International at the time of enrollment.

No Refunds After Draft Day Once a player has been drafted to a team, no refunds will be issued. At that point, Maitland Little League has already committed registration funds toward costs that cannot be recovered, including but not limited to:

  • Uniform orders (hat, shirt, belt, and socks)
  • League insurance premiums
  • City field use fees
  • Charter and administrative fees

Medical Hardship Requests We understand that unexpected medical circumstances can prevent a player from participating. If a player is unable to continue due to a medical condition or injury, a parent or guardian may submit a written Accommodation Request to the Board of Directors. The Board will review each request on a case-by-case basis and may, at its sole discretion, issue a partial refund or credit toward a future season.

What Maitland Little League Is Not Responsible For Maitland Little League is not responsible for and will not issue refunds due to:

  • A change of mind or personal scheduling conflicts
  • The cost of personal equipment purchased by the family (cleats, gloves, bats, batting helmets, or baseball pants)
  • Missed practices or games
  • Dissatisfaction with team placement or division assignment
  • Weather-related game cancellations or rescheduling

How to Submit a Refund Request All refund requests must be submitted in writing to our league president at P[email protected] prior to draft day. Verbal requests will not be accepted. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to process.


No refund will be issued if a player or family member is removed or suspended from the league for violations of the MLL Code of Conduct.
