Step Up, Get Involved, Make a Difference
Maitland Little League runs on volunteers like you! When you register your player, you’ll have a chance to check off the roles you’re interested in—whether you're ready to coach, support from the sidelines, or hand out post-game snacks with style. All volunteers must pass a background check to ensure a safe, fun environment for everyone.
Head Coach:
Ready to lead? The Head Coach is the heart of the team. You'll run practices, set lineups, guide your players, and be the go-to for league updates. Think of it as team captain meets team mentor. Each team needs one dedicated Head Coach.
Assistant Coach:
Not ready to wear the big whistle? Assistant Coaches are the right-hand support for the Head Coach and step in when needed. You’ll help at practices, keep energy up in the dugout, and maybe even take the reins on game day. Teams run best with 3–4 Assistant Coaches.
Team Parent:
Think of this role as team organizer and morale booster. From handing out uniforms and coordinating snacks to planning parties and helping with the concession schedule, Team Parents are the glue that holds the off-field action together. Each team benefits from having 1–2 great Team Parents.
Concessions:
Short shifts, big impact. Our concessions team keeps players fueled and families happy. Volunteer for a 1–2 hour shift during games or practices—it’s a fun way to meet other parents and support the league. Plus, it's air conditioned!
